Him

So far from Him

So near to myself

It’s not the way it’s suppose to be

I’m all alone and so afraid

Nowhere insight I see Him

So where do I go

To who do I turn to

If only myself I see

~*~*~*~*~*~

Now how can I turn around

How can He take me back

If  I’ve pushed Him away time and time again

And for a moment I catch a glimpse

~*~*~*~*~*~

Of  the one who gave it all for me

The one who looks for me day & night

Not caring where I’m at

Nor caring who I’ve become

~*~*~*~*~*~

But wanting to hold me so tight

Telling me it will be alright, no matter what

And all He wants do is love me and

Share all He has for me

~*~*~*~*~*~

So now I know

Now I understand

Who I am and

Where I stand

~*~*~*~*~*~

His love for me is so deep

All I can do is be still

To let him be and

Work in me

~*~*~*~*~*~

Now that I’ve been renewed

All I see is Christ in me

My comfort, my refuge, my strength has returned

And all I can say is what about yours
