Help!

2 Samuel 22:20 (CEV)
“When I was fenced in, you freed and rescued me
because you love me.”

We all had moments where we have felt fenced in, trapped from a situation with no way out.  At times you even feel caged in, like a prisoner.  Your captors have no mercy on you.  You struggle and fight, but feel like you don’t get any where.  You still feel trapped, alone and very desperate.  Who can save you from this situation?  Many of you have been struggling for years, others months, others weeks, but in every case, there’s a feeling of being trapped.

Here’s the thing about God’s love for you:  He’ll do whatever it takes to rescue.  If He has to move mountains, He’ll do it.  Everything He does for you is based on the love He has for you.  He will rescue you, heal you, restore you, whatever your situation is, He’ll do it out of love.  Like a father when he sees his child in trouble, God will come to the rescue.

He’s known as our Savior, but He not only saved us from eternal damnation, He will continue to save us from the situations we find ourselves in.
Here are a couple of Scriptures that speak of God helping us:

Psalm 89:21“and I will always be there to help and strengthen him.”
Jeremiah 14:8 - “You’re our only hope; you alone can save us now.”
Psalm 34:4“I asked the Lord for help, and he saved me from all my fears.”
Psalm 37:5 - “Let the Lord lead you and trust him to help.”
Psalm 22:5“When they cried out for help, you saved them, and you did not let them down when they depended on you.”
Psalm 33:20“We depend on you, Lord, to help and protect us.”
Psalm 34:17“When his people pray for help, he listens and rescues them from their troubles.”
Acts 2:21“Then the Lord will save everyone who asks for his help.”

There are plenty of Scripture and examples in the Bible of people that God helped and rescued.  Here is a principle you must learn: If God did it for one, He can do for all!  You too can receive this help from God.  He’s not far from you when you’re in trouble.  He’s there to rescue you and free you from that situation.

Always be thankful.  God loves you, never forget that!
